BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BLUEBERRY SEASON 2026!

We are BERRY excited to inform you our blueberry season will start this Friday, July 24,2026 from 8:30-3:00pm.This year we will be operating on a day to day basis with NO set open and closed days.
We will POST DAILY on our Facebook page and/or on this website.

We recommend that you call us @ 613-440-0897 for updates on picking conditions, check our website and/or check our post on Facebook page if we are OPEN before heading to the farm.

​Please note: We may require to close early if we are picked out, for ripening reason or bad weather condition. Please read pre-picked guidelines posted below this message or on our Facebook page before heading to the farm if you are interested to pick your own blueberries.

Honey is available for sale too.

NOTE: We have limited pre-picked blueberries if you are interested for pre-picked basket you can reserve it by calling 613-440-0897 or send a message on our Facebook messenger. we will contact you to confirm your order and give you a pick up details (date and time) before you headed to the farm.

We welcome you back for our blueberry season 2026 at Rubicon Farms!

An update for our 2026 picking season.


​Our OPENING DATE is Friday July 24th, from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

This year schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions and ripening of berries.
Always check our FACEBOOK PAGE for updates or call us and listen to prompt voicemail if we aren't able to answer your call @ 613-440-0897.

PLEASE READ THIS NOTE BEFORE HEADING TO THE FARM IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO PICK-YOUR-OWN.

PICK-YOUR-OWN SEASON GUIDELINES 2026!

PICK-YOUR-OWN blueberries sold by the container again this year.
On arrival you will be asked to choose your container to purchase.

Bring your own clean basket from last year - (2L & 4L Standard baskets ONLY). Any non-standard containers are not permitted. If you don't have a standard container we have available for purchase 4L and 2L for $1.50 each tax included.

You choose a container and pay before you picked.

Everyone who would like to go to the fields must pick at least a 1-quart /1-Liter container each. (applicable to everyone including 4yrs and older)

We will not permit anyone WITHOUT a PAID container to go into our fields including everyone 4 years and older.

How it works:

Please don’t forget to bring your water bottle and hat. Please don’t forget to apply sunscreen if you plan to pick.

On arrival you will be asked to choose your container to purchase (Applicable to everyone 4yrs and older)

Everyone must have a container in their hands to go to the field.

We will guide you and show you where to pick. Please pick clean. No criss-cross between rows. We asked that you REMAIN where you are assigned to pick and any other instructions you are given (as normal).
 
First come first spot basis in the field. Please understand and be patient if it becomes necessary to wait for a spot in the field upon your arrival.

PLEASE NO EATING of Berries when you pick.

NO SMOKING/VAPING IN THE PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES.


Children are always welcomed here at our farm however please note that it is your responsibility to make sure they remain in the same row as you.  If you or members of your group are not respectful, we hold the right to ask you to leave. We are here as a fun and relaxing place for everyone to come and enjoy and have a zero-tolerance policy towards anyone who cannot be respectful towards our staff and other guests.

Pets are not allowed in the property. Please leave them at home.

We will have a limited quantities of pre-picked Blueberries available. You can order/reserved a pre-picked berry basket ahead of time just call us at 613-440-0897 and leave a message of send us a message on our Facebook messenger. We will contact you to confirm your order and give you a pick up details (date and time) before heading to the farm.


Honey will be available too.

Rubicon Farms is a Pick your Own Blueberry Farm in Eastern Ontario, just north of the village of Avonmore. We grow five varieties of Highbush blueberries (vaccinium corymbosum) on a two acre planting.

We have started growing black raspberries, red raspberries and haskaps (honeyberries).

We follow organic practices. ​
